Mrs Ashton’s class have been learning about how chocolate is produced. Carol from Coco Pzazz visited the class. She shared lots of information, as well as passing round cocoa pods and different types of chocolate. Needless to say, the class were really inspired to record their learning!

Crisp Packet Collection

The Eco Committee have been working with Keep Wales Tidy to collect crisp packets. In an assembly, we learned that the waste packets are used to make rescue blankets for homeless people here in Wales. Bake sale for Morocco Earthquake

Mrs Ashton’s class have been baking. They worked in small groups to produce 72 flapjacks and 72 chocolate chip cookies. These were sold at 50p each in almost 72 seconds! Today we have been on a coronation parade around Llanidloes wearing our beautiful crowns and waving our banners. We had a special lunch and a talent show in the hall. We also made some delicious muffins to celebrate the occasion.

Dosbarth Twm Sion Cati have been involved in many exciting music lessons this term. They have had strings, where they are learning to play the violin and cello, like being part of a professional orchestra.
