The Eco Committee met with Zoe, the Community Link Officer from the Co-op. They explained to her what they have achieved so far in the “Quiet Garden” they are developing. The Eco committee have been successful in their bid at the Coop to gain funds to develop their project further. Lots of future planning ideas were discussed with Zoe.
Last year a mural was painted, a wildlife planter was filled and tyres have provided a start to begin “bee friendly” planting in the area. This year the committee hope to continue the mural with a “vision” of the school’s ethos, set out vegetable growing beds, and develop an efficient watering system in the area. Watch this space…
